Vintage Veterinary Trocar

Description

Very old and large Veterinary Trocar. The trocar is made up of an awl used to pierce a hole and a cannula (essentially a hollow tube) which keeps the hole open ready to insert the exploratory instrument or to release gas as these old Trocars were often used in cases of chronic bloating. Measures a whopping 20cms long.
