Vintage Coldlite Medical Scope

Large Scientific Medical Coldlite Scope Instrument. I believe this was used as an early Sigmoidoscope. Sigmoidoscopy is a procedure that’s used to look inside the lower part of the large bowel to check for cancer, bleeding and other conditions. It measures a massive 47cms long, made from perspex with a rod that retracts and plunges through the tubing. The angled perspex section is solid. It could well be veterinary from the size of it so a very unusual and strange object with an air of mystery.
