Victorian Bloodletting Scarificator

Description

This is a Fine Scarificator in good working order. It is essentially a mechanical leech, used primarily in 19th century medicine. A very gruesome collectable indeed. Measures approx. 5.5cms tall and made by French makers L. Mathieu.
