Not for the faint hearted. Original 1934 publication by the Daily Express, London and edited by T A Innes & Ivor Castle. This hard back book contains a large number of photographs from WWI which are very graphic in content. The last fifteen pages had a red seal and warning notice to prepare more sensitive folk of the worst pictures that follow. A very real and gruesome look at the reality of war. Everyone should see it really to remind us all how lucky we are. My late grandfather won a military medal for bravery but never spoke about it, now I know why. Very thought provoking. Measures 29 x 22.5cms.
