Antique Macabre Victorian Wax Head

Description

A superb example of a Victorian Wax Head Moulage. Mounted on what looks to be a very old dome base, the glass dome is long gone. The head has a strange and unusual medical caliper measure embedded within the temples. A very macabre & fascinating item. Base measures 32 x 18cms & it stands approx. 23cms tall.
