Framed Walter Potter Bramber Museum Postcard

Item ID: 758 | Category: Taxidermy

Here we have an original old Bramber Museum No 408 Picture Postcard which shows his famous Taxidermy scene “The Rats’ Den – Police Arrive”. Mounted and framed in an old oak antique frame. Frame measures 30 x 24cms. Arguably one of the founding fathers of English Taxidermy, Walter Potter was born on July 2nd 1835 in the village of Bramber in West Sussex. This is a very quirky picture and extremely collectable.
