Victorian Antique Mounted Taxidermy Tortoise

A very handsome chap, this tortoise has been mounted on a wooden base and is in excellent condition given his age. Very quirky looking. Nice Claws and face and shell is perfect with a fine patina. Wooden base measures 15 x 18 cms. It appears to have been wall mounted at some point which was typical of this particular style of Antique tortoise mount. A charming Taxidermy collectable.
